Day off so time to play with the car again. After replacing my steering column I noticed the car felt a lot better but it wouldn't be perfect until I changed my fubar steering rack so.......... I did lol

After this i then sorted the tracking and cleaned my induction kit
:-)
Still waiting on my cam tho. But I've got my oil and filter ready to pop on also

XU10J4RSThe XU10J4RS was fitted to the Peugeot 306 GTi6 and Citroen Xsara VTS. The cams in this engine have more duration and lift than the XU10J4R. Standard specifications are 205 deg. @ 0.050" lift and 0.395". This is still quite mild by performance camshaft standards however. More power can be unleashed cheaply with a camshaft upgrade. Because the standard cam has a healthy amount of lift, more interesting profiles are available for regrinding than is possible with XU9J4 and XU10J4R camshafts.A major issue with these engines is the lack of valve to piston clearance at TDC. Many tuners have bent valves through not timing camshafts correctly. These engines have adjustable pulleys as standard so there is no excuse for not setting up the cams correctly. For this reason, I have revised the regrinds available for these engines.I currently can not supply new cams for XU10J4R or RS engines. Stage I Inlet (regrind only)Advertised Duration250Duration @ 0.050”215Maximum Lift0.380"Lift @ TDC0.042Lobe Centre Angle111Part NumberRSH435A

So after driving to bluewater to drop my sister off I noticed that I didn't do the best job on the tracking so I decided to get it done

Overall it doesn't look to bad only thing is the rear end seems I may have put the beam on a tad squiff

Hyper finally after waiting for what seem forever my Peter T cam has turned up. Getting them from customs was a nightmare. So next job is to pull the engine back out and fit the beauty plus a new belt and auto tension pulley because mines making a bit of a racket.
Also today some shiney bits turned up :-)

Some nice carbon wing mirror covers. I also have two A4 carbon sheets to cover the holes in the boot just behind the arches to smarten it up.
Soon as it warm............ Ish I will get on the case

Duct Tape FTW.

Although to be fair, the plastic inserts weigh f**k all anyways. Only reason I used Duct tape is Ive lost one of them.

I now it did a Ferrari experience day at silverstone it was the nuts.
Im in the stimulation where I think f#ck and spent on bits instead of track time.i.e at the moment im following a few sets of wheels on bay and bucket seats even though I've already got eventhing.

Just got to find my paper bit of my driving licence heard I need booth bits for track.
