Since the time has come for me to pretend to be a grown up, I want to make my car a bit quieter. Unfortunately I can't really make it quieter since I have a jetex.

I have been looking at sound deadening, after seeing Carl tap on the roof of his dynamatted rallye I REALLY wanted some.

Here is the problem...

Dynamat etc is EXTREMELY expensive.

How do people rate somethign like this?

Does anyone have any other budget conscious recommendations?

surely dynamtting it isnt going to make you're car any quieter from the outside?

You'll still look like you're attending court

But I won't feel like I'm attending court.

It's the group-N engine mount causing the majority of the problems. I will swap it out at some point.

I don't know what the Ebay links are for as Ebay is blocked here, but flashing tape is a good alternative.

LOL that sounds exactly like sound deadening but for a realistic price.

B&Q did it for a good price. Get the widest roll you can to save buying a couple of narrow ones.
