I have done some searchs, but When I drive the Rallye and Pick up speed the car feels so unstable it feels like im going to crash into something, i dont like the steering response and want to sort it asap!

Now what can I upgrade and what parts should I just replace with Std items or after market parts? for example, Bushs, ARB, Susp Arms, rear beam mounts and so on

The car currently has KW Coilovers at the front and set Stiff - Max
Rear has been lowered and can Koni Ajustable Shocks its set on Medium id says but can see wr to ajust it

turn front dampers to soft and harden in small amounts over time,
change wishbone bushes and get tracking done.
will transform it

look at hybrid ARB and solid beam mounts also

Cheers Guys. Adam, the Steering doesn't feel responsive, and when Im driving at speed and go move the wheel left and right very slightly it feels like it turns a second later then when I have turned the wheel if you see what I mean.

Hybrid ARB and solid Beam mounts, wrs the best place to source these?

STOP DRIVING THE CAR.

you have an ovalised hub Yes
the hole where the balljoint has ovalised, there is a very high chance of it coming out , if it does you WILL crash and do alot of damage.

Could be a worn or pair of worn track rod ends, that could also introduce a slack feeling in the steering.

But like Lotek says, get it checked quickly as TBH the steering of the 306's cant normally be faulted (except the shit lock lol)

I think Ill change the DropLink, TrackRod Ends, and Susp Arms all at the same time, tho it could only be the one thats at fault.

Well you learn something new everyday.

I would definitely check those ball joints, as those symptoms you've described Wayne, do align with what lotek is suggesting.

I'm sure you know what you're doing mate, but you've got my number and you know where I am.

I imagine it can be unnerving.

But hopefully, whatever it is, you'll nip it in the bud.

better to find out sooner rather than later, its usually the drivers side that goes.
and usually the 16mm Bj hole opposed to 18

could just be knackered BJ's and P-bushes, these feel quite similar to a worn hub.

check the BJ pinch bolts are the correct ones (i.e should have a shank) and are done up to 23 lbft.

I've cracked a hub across the ball joint doing up a pinch bolt, the car was all over the place, get it jacked up before it comes out and causes loads of damage.

Easy to overtighten the pinch bolt and knacker the hubRoll eyes
As Welshpug says, check the torque on bolt,23 lb ft is hardly anything more than hand tightSmile

Just seen this - I'd say you need to fit some solid rear subframe mounts on the car as the coilovers totally stiffen up what was originally designed to be quite a supple car (solid mounts were next on my list before i sold it).

The standard rubber passive stear mounts are likely to be in alrght condition but the firmness of the rest of the set up will over exagerate them.

I take it your issues with the steering at high speed are the with passive rear steer and the fact that it feels like the back end is wagging around a bit when you correct the steering.
