not much left of the 205 now, rear quarters cut off ready to fit the Dimma kit;

drivers side air intake;

rear Honda hubs are being drilled to take Peugeot wheels.

thottle cable was made out of the old Honda boot realse cable which happened to be the correct length!

top half of Honda dash to house Honda instruments

ok things have moved a bit more and its now sitting on its wheels! The kit is just taped on fo now just to get the ride height and everything correct, its starting to look a beast;

but then someone had a bright idea as the didnt want it to just look like a 205, Im in 2 minds about it but it does look different for sure. they cut the Honda bumper in hafl to use as the 205 front bumper.

see what you think?

Doesn't really work imo. Rounded bumper with the sharp creases in the 205 bodywork just doesn't gel.

yeah thats what I think, its got a big chin a bit like a 206 Grand Tourismo had, so looks strange. but it kinder works in the way they want as it does look different.

I would go with 205 bumper if it were me, but again its not my car.

The front bumper looks better when you see it for real, didn't look to bad when i popped in last week.

Still would go with a 205 one tho.

I think the rounded bumper suits the dimma kit. Tell them to go for it, it would be different Smile

give them a phase 1 306 bumper for it, seen them on some wide bodied 205's and they look good Smile

Tbh, a 205 with the 306 front end looks quite good full stop, certainly tidied the front end up on Foucarts machine, might be worth considering:

205 front end:

205 with 306 lights, bumper + wings blended in, etc:

Long time no update but work has been getting in the way of progress. but things have moved on, the long process of getting the kit fitted and getting rid of all the hair line cracks in it has taken ages! it is now finally done and the car is fully stripped ready to be painted.

here ready for primer;

and then fully primed

should hopefully get some colour on it this week!

Everything about this stinks of awesome, looks so satisfying when the first uniform coat of paint goes on and you get an idea what it's going to look like.

If you ever consider not finishing this project I'll definitely be putting something unpleasant through your letterbox.
