thinking of carbon wraping the above, you think it might get a bit hot there for it?

The wrap will be fine, its the adhesive underneath that will let go and make it look terrible.

But what I do Like better and may have a crack at ---> Hyper it's not far off a project i'm already working on but I have far to many of those on the go to be starting another one LOL

any idea what you put on the OE part to make a mold? some sort of wax? then cover tieh FG i guess, then thats the mold done, then fill the mold with carbon fibre?

it may take a few practice attempts to do a successful mould so bear that in mind if your going to have a crack at it!

i think the site is carbon modz but they do skinning kits which would be easy, also do mould making kits

i'd certnally have a crack at it it doesn't look that hard to do,..

say you do a full bonnet with supports what sort of regulations have to be met before you can put something like that on your car?

it's one thing doing a cover for something but from a safety point of view would something like that need to be checked out thoroughly if only for insurance purposes?
