Looking at the mpg stats and i cant find anything that compares the mpg between the cars.
Whats the best you've seen these cars do is it possible to get them up to 36+ mpg?

On the back of a recovery truck? LOL

Best I've had is 34/35 on the motorway, could probably get more if i stuck to the slow lane, but no doubt boredom would soon kick in Tired

Driving on various road types across a full tank of fuel you should see around 30-35 mpg

I've had over 500 miles from a tank but that was all motorway at about 70-80mph. It was in the summer and never hit any traffic which makes a big difference.

Laugh At you, not your statement. Those comments always come from the ones that just don't tell people how they drive but wish they drive like they stole it and pretend on the internet that that is what happens.

It's so got FACT written all over it that I have to avoid it while obtaining 39.4mpg

Huh? I don't drive everywhere like I stole it but to achieve nearly 40mpg average you must drive like a poof. The requirement to constantly overtake people doing 41mph in national speed limits destroys average mpg but if I was that bothered about it I would buy a diesel.

Averaged 22mpg today. 30 miles without the exhaust attached to the turbo (sounded awesome with massive bangs on lift off) then another 80 miles with the exhaust attached but cruising at 80mph and walloping the odd 206 and CTR.

Shoulda bought a D5. Remap will fix it Laugh my ass off

In my old stripped out '6 I managed 49mpg on a trip to Grimsby and back. I stuck to 60mph both ways.

Average, though, is about 28-30mpg depending

Well mines been getting pretty shite mileage lately. Last tank was 300 miles and the tank before that as well.

That works out at about 25 mpg, but I do hoon it about for alot of that. I used to get 330 or so to a tank.

It must be the cold weather, or I need a new lambda.

I average about 300 miles to a tank don't think I've ever got over about 320. So about 24mpg. And a full tank of VPower now costs £80 Cry

What's the point in owning one of these cars if you are going to drive around everywhere under 3k revs though? May as well drive a derv.
