Only just heard about these whilst reading a thread!
Can anyone shed any light on the bhp standard and what they would be pushing after a remap.
They fit into a 306 ok ? any problems?
Answer please Unsure

not sure standard, but all ive seen have been from180bhp to 210ish bhp, you have only just heard of these yet you posted a link to 1 for sale on ebay the other week, they fit easy just have to extend the bottom ehngine mount and some wiring, and they are quicker than a 6 once in and keep up with low boost 6's

the fit straight in, you need a down pipe for exhaust making, front mount. you can run the gti6 box and clutch. ecu will need unlocking and a loom made up to wire to the 306 chassie loom.

there a bit of a hassle on. 150bhpis standard but you can get 200bhp easy, not much work needed

They are CT engine, said to be built as a stopgap till the J4R engine was introduced, essentially just an 8v XU10J2 with lower compression and a turbo slapped on, 2x versions 140 or 150 bhp IIRC.

Rubbish even with over 200bhp, Thats my thoughts on it, For the money I'd use something else or tune the 6 lump.

I dont agree with this one bit, my mate and his bird have 205 8v turbos, his is forged running hybrid turbo and got mapped at track n road 245.6hp and 230 lb ft, his birds is standard running 0.9 bar boost with 180hp and 160 lb ft iirc!
