Even so, £280 for wishbone bushes is extortionate. Especially when you consider they are only standard ones with firmer rubber in them (this is all the Group N rules permitted). Because they are still made of standard rubber they will still degrade just like any other rubber bush will.

It makes far more sense to just buy once and get some made from materials that won't break up after a few years.

I 100% recommend rich_W ones but you could try phoning Skip Browns they carry a lot of group N stuff at reasonably sensible prices.

With the Ball joints just get some OE ones or Motaquip, that will save a few quid and you won;t get better

thought so. rich w kit is just 2 in number of each bush. where as spooks so the bushes plus ball joints, crease bolts and any other part needed. ill be buying a set off of spooks so i can get rid of the 16mm ball joints which are notorious for breaking. and use my 18mm hubs. ill let you no what i think of them when i get them if you like.

You're better off buying a set of Rich_W's roller bearings, as has already been stated.Wink

Then a trip to GSF for a pair of lower balljoints,
ask for Lemforder which include the pinchbolts and nuts and jobs most certainly a good one.

I've had a set fittd on my 6 for more than 2 years
and no way can i fault them.

It's your hard earned that you'll spend as you feel fit to, but i know where my cash would go.

Wink

From experance the Powerflex one's don't last 5 minutes and are more flexable than standard OE Bush's, one reason why I never use them on anything as I don't need the hassle of warranty work.
Again the bolts I'd upgrade to a higher tensile strength, say 12.9 instead of 8.8 and do not over tighten them like most people do and thats why they bend and are only a couple of quid from a nut and bolt shop
