its a risk im gonna have to take aint it Smile

I spoke to ben at spoox, he recons the diesel box MIGHT be ok and geared ok, as il have the tourque revs and power to get to the end of the gears, but its just How strong it will be, i know for a fact the diesel boxes can take 250+ft lbs of tourque from a diesel, but not sure about 7000+ rpm

That old chesnut, Anyone who says that knows nothing about them, As WP said, All BE box's are the same bar the gears have different depth cut's, later ones are shallower which isn;t as good.
Also no need for a Derv box unless you want a top speed of 170 odd mph in theory, Better off with a std 16v box.

zx has the aerodymanics of a house brick though! and tbf i wouldnt even bother over 150+ as id be paranoid over tyre ratings! ive only ever gone to 153 on sat nav, that was in a 843kg td04 gt which was very unstable and stupid

lmao nah, i really want to get a thrash in Performance gti at brunters! would be an awesome day, even if my zx was still a diesel it would be quicker than a decent vts/106 gti. ive also got a mate with a quick zx td!

but when petrol turbo it would surely be worthy of a feature! theres no local roads or motorways with in 20 miles of me where you can reach thouse speeds dude lol
