Oh really, did not know that.

So we HAVE to weld in the seperate boss?

I thought the kit completely replaced the old lambda.

No it is cable tied in a safe place.

I am trying to avoid this, hence the resistor. I just don't have time to plumb it all in at the mo.

It is just to trick the ECU into thinking it is getting the reading from the std lambda instead of the high tech wideband.

I have put my boost gauge in the ashtray, and will put the AFR gauge next to it.

It is recessed in a little as the ashtray isn't 2" thick but it hides it nicely. There is also a nifty power source for the boost gauge that only comes on with the lights.

You dont need the std lambda... but ecu does flag the missing heater element but it isnt a MIL issueNo

why would the ecu flag the missing heater element?

there is no circuit between the heater and the ecu, its ignition switched to earth!

When I fit mine I'll find out.

On other cars it definitely is. I expect this is the case on ours too.

I think what I will do is cut a standard lambda off the plug and use the wires so that I am not hurting the wiring loom. I can check if it's flagging a fault using Peugeot Planet.
