I'm on with putting my high boost engine together, does anyone know what these ARP L19 con rod bolts should be torqued up toDunno

The rods came with the bolts fitted so no instructionsDoh

not sure really, I found this as well, which suggests quite a higher torque figure for 30w oil rather than their own Lube.

Though none of the figures correspond directly to a Pug bolt, not surprising given its a Link off a Triumph specialist website Laugh my ass off

give Rich W or Sandy a shout maybe? or any local engine builders to you.

Graphogen I think u can use. or if u have a gsasket set from pug there is a tube of the tube used for doing ur head bolts. Have seen copper grease used before, but I am not so sure about that

Just ordered some ARP lube off eBay, looks like fitting the sump will have to wait till next weekendDoh

I'd of thought any decent lube will do. Just stops the bolts sticking and giving fake torque readings.

You can download the product catalogue from the ARP website - this contains torque figures for all their fastenings.

The fastenings on the SAENZ rods are 50 ft/lb, although these aren't necessarily the same diameter / thread pitch as yours.

They are Max Speeding rods from China, they look very good tbh for the £300 I paid for them including shipping & the L19 bolts. It's nice when you can see the feint rub marks in the bores 90 degrees to each other where they have been checked for size & ovality after honing!!

I'm pretty sure I have the ARP tightening specs for those at work, my rods are the ones that PEC supply but they look identical to yours, I'll dig the instructions out tomorrow mate.
