Does anyone know where i can get hold of some bumpstops, similar to the ones on standard shocks?

My coilovers are away for repair/revalve tomorrow and they dont have any under the dust covers, so i think it would be a good idea to get some fitted when i get them back.

A pothole put paid to one already, when it bottomed out and if there'd been some fitted from new, it probably would/may have saved it.

Bram Racing might have some Superpro foam ones if you ring 'em, Dave@Dampertech used to sell the powerflex foam ones which is what I use, but I don't know if he's had any stock since the factory fire.

are you sure it was meant to have external ones? coilover type is normally internal?

I know that they have internal bumpstops, but for the poor road surfaces that are the staple of this island we live on, i was thinking that it would help to guard against a repeat performance!

I remember having seen them advertised on some tuning/motorsport company website, but for the life of me i can't remember which company! Doh

I'm taking them to be repaired/revalved tomorrow and i'll have a chat with the repairer and see what he recommends.

Only if they the upside down type, and even then it's often a short, hard stop, rather than the long progressive type that works a bit better on our roads!
