Hi all. Can anyone confirm please that a complete rear beam from a 306 HDI will be ok as a direct replacement for the Gti6 beam on my 99 Ph3??. Are there any differences at all between the two??. Looking at the possible replacement, it has the yellow tube and red torsion bars, and complete disc set up. Opinions and help much appreciated. Cheers. Jim. |

the 'HDI' is the same Beam yes  Just make sure its Not a 'meridian' or other subname HDI or it will have smaller arb and tb's |

Cheers to the couple of people who came back with replies.  .Have found out for sure the beam is from an XSI, will this still be ok??. Beam has the full disc set up on it, the tube's yellow and torsion bars red. Sorry for all the what seem like silly questions!  .Hopefully i can put my mind at rest soon  .Cheers again. |

it will fit, but the arb and torsion bars are smaller its the colour of the lines that are on one side of the torsion bars that indicates the size of them |
