I didnt say it would not affect the handling, just dont think it makes to much difference from what other people have said about it. But i have never driven a v6 so i could not say.

If anything I would say postioning would be more of a factor than the weight as its all RIGHT up to the rad nearly. And not tilted.

its only the front head and exhaust manifold that's more forwards, the inlet its hanging over the back of the engine, its an alloy block, the steel sump is tiiiny.

main extra weight is the flywheel, clutch and gearbox, flywheel itself is 8 kilos, Adam had his lightened to about 7, the box is 10 kilos heavier, not sure how much the clutch weighs but its a nice beefy one.

Fair enough, I would love to drive one to be fair. V6's sound EPIC.
It would be worth having a billet flywheel made at that weight surely.
Having said that I thought the gti6 one was 8kg too?

I had a 2.0 nova and that was a bugger for understeer but mei is right, vauxhalls come out of the factory with understeer LOL

306s are actually fine and very practical when it comes to kids.

Shame the d9 is multiplexed. It's a much better engine than the d8. Slightly heavier but very restricted in the coupe.

Oh and there are plenty of Vauxhalls that handle more sweetly than a 306, just got to go back a few years, well about 30+ now LOL
