So I thought I'd be a little different and try a Laminova (oil-water heat exchanger) instead of the usual oil-air cooler. Apparently it's what the touring cars ran.

However, the oil sandwich/take-off plate I was expecting to use (with a regular mocal oil cooler) was ½" BSP fittings. The Laminova comes in 2 main oil line sizes -8, -10, how do they compare? (I understand units of inches but have no idea what -8 and -10 mean!) Unsure

Aye, I just got off the phone to Think Auto (where I ordered the unit from) and they said -8 would be fine (and closest to ½" BSP). Apparently -8 means ¾" -10 is 7/8" so quite big really.

Thanks for answering, though Thumbs up
