Are those injectors not meant to be at an angle like normal 6 ones then?

    not sure Dunno
cant remember how the old ones looked
but once i fit the wee clips and i might have to angle the injectors in order to fit the injector plugs on??

ready for engine now, slowly building everything back up
then engine and gearbox is pretty much ready to go in

been looking at the front lower chassis legs, can feel there is rust under the stone chip stuff
was half planning taking subframe off and derusting the whole lot

will do this at later date as i want to get car on the road for a few month before i am snowed in again Roll eyes

chassis legs are not corroded as i first thought, minor surface rust gave it a rub with dremmel and painted over with zinc paint. Will sort another time

i am missing a bracket that secures the heatshield... i have hunted high and low
think i must of not got it back from powder coaters Doh

anyway made a wanted thread for that and now and i do plan to fit engine today
still have swirl pot and fuel pump to play with

    Engine ready

    Engine bay ready

    And some more

temporary repair by the heat tape, will do until i get something better to replace my heatshield

relay for uprated fuel pump pretty much wired in, havent took enough pictures of the whole setup yet
here is where i spliced into loom to use as trigger wire for switching the relay on

as discussed with some very helpful members on here i used fuse 9 blue wire

heater controls are playing up, when i had dash out i replaced them with less worn looking ones
i noticed the wire rope that closes my fan flap didnt quiet feel right. (Six and Rallye have different setups iirc)

I must of moved something when cleaning the top of the intake flap from the outside.
when i go to close the flap completly it stays closed, i managed to pop it back open by pushing the controls under the passenger side of dash.
"1 to 4" still works okay for now.

Ready to go for test drive...

the Wilwoods are in dire need of being bled again, and then again....

highboost Love but highboost with no brakes.... not soo much love.

Helix 6 Paddle Clutch with Saches cover feels ace, very precise Yes
considering iv been driving a 67bhp diesel for past month and a bit i thought the fact i did'nt stall once spoke for itself.

Can I just ask why you're running the high-boost set-up with the throttle body pre-charger? I thought high-boost ran with a recirc valve in the charger body, DTA management and the TB on the end of the inlet?

mines normal high boost and not "super highboost" which uses a larger supercharger
