hey i'm looking at replacing my rear dampers and have seen these on the bay of love

what do people think of these are they worth the money?

they are ok but id get the ones for the xsara zx if your planning on putting these on a lowered car.the zx ones are stiffer and also shorter the 306 ones are abit sof.t i had them....still do in the shed LOL

As said, for a std car then the OE ones are hard to beat at a price, If you want uprated ones then either the ZX ones for a minor upgrade or the B6 306 Dampers or 205 Group N damper's

do koni sports work well? i guess ride quality best with new OE dampers?

konis are awesome, but mismatched suspension isnt a good idea.
try to get koni front AND rear if poss

Hey I'm just changing the dampers not the hight at the rear as I took mine off this weekend and there cream crackered lol, so your saying these would be good for a direct replacement then?

xsara vts ones are shorter, probably the same as volcane ones

gti6 o/e rear shockers, are now 5206.TE, as from last wednesday when i picked some up

I was talking about the Xsara VTS dampers as referred to in the previous post- stiffer and shorter than the comfy gti6 ones.

Bilstein B6's are shorter iirc, not sure about OE replacement ones though
