ive got a clearance issue with the brake reservoir on my 205 with the cage thats been welded in.
cutting a long story short i bought a compbrake bias pedal box which is the worst £170 ive spent, it didnt fit atall and sold as a direct replacement.i spent many hours making it fit and on the phone to compbrake but they dont really want to know about it.
ive got it to fit but still not very happy with the overall quality with the whole product and being such an important part i dont want to take any chances so im left with two options.

A. buy another pedal box but a decent more expensive item.

B trying to use my standard servo setup but with a remote reservoir like on a pedal box similar (easier cheaper option)

clearance issue with standard servo pedal box fitted

standard m/c with bulky reservoir

this m/c is from my bias pedal box, i need somthing like this i believe but with the ability to fit a standard servo and run 2 ports minimum

any help would be great!
thanks Ash

thanks, ive got an idea on how i can remote mount the reservoir on the standard m/c.

get a machinest i know to spin up some outlets the same as whats on the bottom of the reservoir and on the other end have some 5/16 hosetails at 45 degrees which i can slip a fluid resistance hose on. use the small remote reservoir pots with hosetail ends on(happen to have a pair) and mount them on the bulkhead. then just jubilee clip the hoses on tight. job jobbed... in theory

Don't know if you'll get the res. above the servo or not, but if you have to mount it lower you'll probably want a couple of these in the line:

They put a light (2psi) pressure in the circuit to stop the fluid draining back.
(Guess who got shiny parts today LOL )

im hoping i can mount the res above the servo either to the top if the bulkhead or to the part of the cage above,
what price do those inline wilwoods come in at?

spiky, it did cross my mind but may get swarf inside easily, also if the vx220 are the right size they will pop in nice and cuts out loads of hassle, will let you know. picking them up on sat a.mBig grin

the bits came into vauxhall yesterday and collected today, and guess what.... fitted perfectly, leave the rubber seals in there and with a small squirt of wd40 they slipped in fine, im not sure if they have sealed as the circuit is still dry but i cant see any reason why not, will get some pics next time im there for those who are intrested. next thing is to find where to mount the reservoir pots..
