Hi All,

I've got some Newman PH2 cams for the 6. and i also have some hydraulic lifters.

I dont however have vernier pulleys, and was advised to get some by the garage that is eventually going to be fitting them so they can be timed up correctly.

My question is, can i just buy any make of vernier pulleys for the cams or does it have to be specifically newmans ones? Can i buy kent pulleys etc and use them ok?

Cheers,
Will

Have checked with Newman’s and you can use any pulleys, any ideas which is the cheapest place to get them? (I'm not getting them off eBay!).

Newman’s don’t actually produce Pulleys for the 6 yet so I can’t buy them from Newman’s.

Cheers

IIRC Kent supplied vernier pulleys to Peugeot Sport.

Whatever brand you choose make sure the inlet pulley has the trigger for the cam sensor.

Piper definitely don't have a crank sensor trigger.

Dont quite understand but isnt that a bit useless if it doesnt have the trigger? I mean assuming they specify they are for the 6 but then dont work?

I have ordered some from Kent, contacted them before hand and they do have the trigger on the inlet pulley.

They are only for cars with aftermarket ECUs.
