I want to get the correct torque setting. How can I tell which torque is for a phase 3 ... ?

Front Hub, M20, > VIN 808980
= 196 lb ft

Front Hub, M20, VIN 808980 >
= 181lb ft

Front Hub, M24
= 237lb ft

Thanks PhillipM for the torque settings Happy

Vin being 32808980? Either before or after 328 Vins are around mid 1999 so your VIN should be after that so.

Guess the other difference is dependant on which ones have M24?

afaik M20 is found on TU engines and MA boxes without ABS, M24 is on any BE box and MA/TU with ABS.

Servicebox says RP 08092 (January 4, 1999) not VIN, either way doesn't matter as they were M24 all the time on a 306 XU shaft.

Holy crap, 320Nm for Phase 3's is that right?

That must apply to HDi too as the shaft is the same.

They don't seem that tight when you're undoing them!
