Hi there

Im getting new wishbones and ball joints fitted on tuesday and i swear i read somewhere on here about adjusting the angle of one of the bushes to allow for a lowered car.

My car is lowered either 30-40mm all round and just wondered if i need to tell the garage to allow for this ?!

Basically you rotate the angle at which the bush sits neutrally (with no load acting upon it).
When you lower a car, the control arm angles upwards and therefore the bush rotates - the aim is to rotate the bush slightly so that it is sitting in the neutral position when the vehicle is on flat ground.

Basically, do not tighten up the front bush bolt til the car is on the ground, ie the bush is sitting in its natural position.
