You may have seen my thread from a few weeks back HERE about my clutch judder.

Well, it's back! So, it's a 1k old clutch with a nice flat flywheel, new bushes on the clutch release arm and it's still juddering.

Weird thing is, it took about 1 - 2 weeks to return again, just like when Mr Clutch replaced the clutch for the second time.

Only thing I can think of doing now is putting a Valeo clutch in and hoping for the best?

Any other thoughts on what it could be?

have you changed the clutch cable, if they go dry and stiff then it could be the cable not releasing smoothly and causing the judder

Yeah, brand new one about 2 months back. It was the first thing I changed, followed by the lower mount.

Was it a genuine cable or an aftermarket one?

If it's not a genuine one have a look at the sheath, mine melted on the exhaust mani and the cable was catching on it, made the pedal vibrate like f*ck.

Cable is spot on, wasn't genuine but I can unhook it from the clutch and it moves freely

I'm going to strip it down again and throw a valeo clutch in there. Fingers crossed!

No me neither. I think i'll pick up a Valeo clutch, strip it down and try again.

The only thing I do remember noticing is that one of the 3 locating lugs on the flywheel was missing but can't see that being an issue whan it's bolted into place.

locating lugs as in the dowels? there's only 3 anyway, that wont help at all as the bolts wont keep the pressure place centralised.

one being missing should affect it greatly, worth getting a new one as they're less than a quid.

pretty sure its;

6965 12 PIN DIAM 6X17 33p (3x used)

best to get the flywheel refaced too, and replace the bolts while you're at it.

053740 FLYWHEEL SCREW 57p (8x used)

Yeah, one of the 3 are missing as I said above.

Maybe that could be part of it then?
