hiya does anyone know what superchargers can be used with the 6? ive been looking at lynx just wondered if there were cheaper chargers/places that fit them out there, just interested in geting it charged next year. thanks

you scare me by using the word "cheap" in your question mate, superchargers and "cheap" dont mix I'm afraid. If you decide to get the conversion done speak to Rich Walker at Lynx, and no one else Smile

It can be done cheaply if your prepared to do everything yourself, the Eaton conversion on my mi16 cost me less than a grand to build and that includes an aftermarket ecu. I understand this isn't easy for everyone but if your a competent mechanic theres no reason you cant have a go yourself.

i looked at a different route... the spare chargers off the mini cooper s as these could be picked up for a few hundred quid but they wouldnt produce the volume of boosted air at high revs that was required so i let it rest

yer i didnt think they would be cheap cheap its just iam 19 and therefore dont really have 4 grand :S and i know i wouldnt be able to to fit one myself. worth a try i guess, and someone please explain to me what corpse grinder cars is all about!! Big grin

you honestly think the 4 grand for the s/c is the problem? you wont get insured. most guys on here who are just curious about s/c quotes and are 22 etc, get quoted over 2k lol
