hi does anybody know the part numbers for the genuine pug wishbones??

i allready have them but im not sure witch one is left and witch one is the right!!

midlife i allready have a set of roller bearings and now 2 pairs of genuine wishbones lol, thanks for mentioning it though, i would of had them if you had asked 6 months ago!!!

these new wishbones are bare metal, are they galvanised?

is it a good idea to paint them to protect from the elements??

They're normally zinc coated, but a good coat of paint won't do them any harm in the long run.

is hammerite spray paint good for the job?, smooth or hammered ?

I got new OE wishbones in 2012 and they had a zinc coating. I painted them with etchweld, as bilt-hamber promotes it as having high adhesion on top of zinc coated surfaces. I used normal satin black as a top coat. Then I waxed them with bilt-hamber UC for additional protection. Wishbones still look good now. Hammerite is OK but too brittle and will chip easily.
