This is a general maintainance question really, which is probably very obvious to most!

How often should the air filter be changed? And i understand theres a K&N filter that can go in the standard air box? Is this just a patent filter that is made by K&N or is it an upgrade in any way?

It should be a Google page with lots of K&N E9000 filter sellers, but if you have a GSF near you that will be easiest, and cheap.
