Has anybody tried highspec brake systems before as i'm thinking of getting a set

Yeah, we run them all the time on the customer cars, they're not bad, and they don't tend to gum up and stick even in the mud, unlike Brembo's.
I'd say the new forged Wilwoods edge them for stiffness/weight though.
