Cheers Captaink Smile

Paul, i'll get it back on no matter what. Even if it means dropping the pedal box off to do so. If that still won't go, i'll shimmy the engine about until its on there! I'm using the 23mm version though so we'll see.

The ECU of which you speak will be a Ph3 one, no good to me i'm afraid. Sorry

I've not updated this for a while, namely because i've been too busy sorting a house out Smile

Rich, i'm sending you the ECU asap. I've not forgotten

Spiky, i've removed the 205 Loom and i'm gonna get them off to you asap.

Sorry for the delay you two

Anyways: Update time!

Firstly, i recently acquired some worse-for-wear Lasers from a lad in Oxford. They are in dire need of a refurb, so this is just a colour check really...

Its Matt Black, and IMPO it will suit the car (once finished completely) no end

Dashboard Out

Wiring Loom removed

Accelerator Cable removed

23mm Master Cylinder fitted (no engine removal needed Razz)

306 Accel. Cable fitted (its a bit long...maybe)

Aux. Belt Fitted

Thats about as far as i've got today

Not at all Spiky, the PAS Pump can stay but it'll lead to nowhere as i'll just return the feed back into the Pump. Yes, I could find a smaller belt but i'm a lazy lazy man

I've managed to find a belt from the local motorists discount centre that fits perfectly.

6pk700 off of memory is the code, unfortunately don't know the halfords equivalent.

Thats for nonPS and nonAC if you ever end up taking them off.

How did you get the exhaust to clear the bulkhead?

I'm not Hurley! :O Thats my mate Dave, the chap who has the 3000cc 24v VVT 306.

Exhaust cleared via some slighty choppy-choppy to the bulkhead, and an extention of the lower fork thus meaning the angle of said engine is further down.

I've not actually done anything with it recently. Tomorrow will be the day of updates (or not if nothing goes to plan)

Eh?

Anyways....

I would update this thread with a plethora of pictures, but i'm not going to as its hardly worth the effort.

My mate Mark managed to shear off a strut nut meaning I now need a new Top mount.

The Drumsticks aren't playing ball either - For reasons unknown they just won't go back in!

if anyone can advise further, i'll be very happy to listen Smile
