Right seeing my rear beam had given up the ghost i decided to just plop a new one in,along the way i took some pics so fought i mite as well post them up as a F.A.Q so....... here goes nothing abuse me with quetions once i've finished

1.) find level ground to jack the car upLOL off course! pop in to gear and release handbrake.
Jack up making sure you get the back high enough to get things out,and remove wheels.

2.)once your wheels are off you can now attack the brakes. unclip all hoses use by giving a little jank and undo the brake dics with you torx bit.also undo handbrake at this time and the bracket which holds the cable.

3.)once this is done you can move on to taking the calipers off,undo two bolts on the back of caliper the mite need a bit of hammer time LOL but don't whack them just tap to releash rust and corrosion. once off should look like this.

4.)once this is off you can remove disc to reveal the hub,i no i done this the hard wayLOL but now undo the other two bolts behind caliper again and end up like this.

5.)now undo three allen key bolts to release the disc protector,then the abs bolt also an allen key.
WARNING! make sure you get allen key in nice and tight otherwise you will round these off.

6.)removing abs sensor can be a painAngry mine was rusted in solid but some gt85 and wiggling around got one off. the other one wasn't so lucky Sad best way to remove these is by getting some mole grips'Shock yes i no' and wrap something around the sensor and just take you time and wiggle not putting to much force into it,and it will come out

7.) with this all done put the bolt back in or somewhere safe same as your disc and protectors.
then being careful move the caliper from behind the trailing arm to the front on it being careful not to bend the piping. do this on both sides

NOTE. if you remove the brakes altogether you wont have to faff around like this, LOL but as you no most bleed nipples snap this saves the problem of having to bleed brakes again

8.)once you've done this it now time to move on to removing the shox/dampners which we should all no how to doHuh? at the time i didnt take my backbox off so i used a very long extension barLOL two of these and went up and over the heatside to get to the fiddley bolt to undo.......

but if you take the box off its alot quicker,then also remove the heat shield for more room.

NOTE. remember which way everything mount spacers and all

9.)with everything now out the way you can tackle the mounting bolts,the good thing about this is you and take the nuts off and leave the bolts in and shouldHuh? bee able to silde the bolts out but don't.having two ways to do this you can either
a)get two of you trusted mates under the beam to wiggle the beam a little to free it or

Coolget two tolley jacks and two scissor jack place the trolley jack either side of the beam..in the middle,with the two scissor jacks just below the hubs and slowly let down trolley first followed by scissor but this is long!!!!!!

and the beams out!

10.)now the beams out get the donor beam ready under the car and then once again you have the same thing to do as you had taking out, either use musle power or go the safety route.both ways work but!!!!!!! this is a pain to do, you have to get the beam aligned right then once again wiggle around using a breaker bar here and their to get the holes right.might take a while but you'll get thereLOL

11.) now the beam is in time to tighten everything up torque if you've got one

beam mount bolts 4 of these

shox mounts 'remembering position' 4 of these

place cable in correct position and tighten carriers 2 of these

pop abs sensor in and tightLOL 2 off these

disc protector 2 of these 6 bolts

brake disc 2 of these 1 bolt

brakes should be a total of either 8 bolts or 4 depending on how you take off

push cables back in holders i.e abs and handbrake

pop heatsheild on

pop backbox on....make sure you have putty
Unsure

pop wheels on

double check everything and bobs your uncle.hope it helps

are your torsion bars the right way round? i just double checked mine and i have 1 stripe on the rear right torsion bar and checked part number ending in 59 ... i am thinking maybe peugeot labelled the new ones i put on incorrectly?
