Judging by how far that wheel is in the arch I think you may have some rather serious issues with a bent subframe/chassis. Have you had a really good look under the car yet?

You are likely to be looking at a subframe, trackrod and drivers side wishbone. Sad

got the car back yesterday, chassis is ok but the wishbone is slightly bent so will need to replace that along with the anti roll bar. need to do some welding aswell, the part on the inner wing that the bumper fixs to is bent and has cracked.
you cant tell until you start stripping bits off how bad the damage is, lol

have got the wing, side skirt and bumper off, cant do much as im suffering with a real bad back (from the accident)
will put more pics up 2moz.

put a few pics up of the car, all finished after 2 days solid labour. fitted new suspension arms on both sides, new wishbone on drivers side (checked old with new to check if it was bent and it was, quite alot lol) and fitted a new arb and bushes. subframe was untouched luckly.
just waiting for my mate to drop me the headlight off then its off for the v.i.c check. going to lower the front 45mm after the v.i.c and drop the rear two clicks and fit a set of uprated shocks.

just an update, car is going for a new mot friday, headlight was a pain to find for some reason not the same as other mk1 306's. got 1 in the end for a tenner. took it out for a run today, my god have i missed driving it. felt good and didnt pull to the side or feel unsafe so should pass mot with flying colours.
lowering it at the weekend so will put few more pics up then.

car failed the mot, needs 2 new track rod ends and a hub (didnt notice when fitting the new ball joint that the balljoint pin housing on the hub was worn) silly boy!!
track rod ends fitted picking a hub up monday then back for a re-test.
am going to look at doing a complete brake overhaul as i got alot of advisorys for the braking system.
so will be fitting new discs all round (maybe some AP ones) mite even buy new calipers aswell and change the brake fluid.
brakes are shocking, only just passed the brake effiency test.

am also going to drop the engine and change the cambelt and tensioners and also change the clutch. am thinking of going for a paddle clutch (do they do them for the sixs?)

car passed the mot today, well chuffed. got to book it for a VIC check now. buying ebc grooved discs for front and back and ebc green pads. front discs are badly worn and corroded, so doing the brakes asap.
