It is a fair angle but follows the curve of the original inlet and has been ported by the Satchell Engineering guys, most importantly it fits without any panel chopping.

I think if I was doing it myself I'd have gone a little further around the curve but there must be a reason they did it this long, I know it's proven to give nigh on 10 more than a Jenvey inlet, at the same cost, and allows very easy fitment of 8 injectors if required Big grin no brainer!

They ain't guna fit for s**t haha! Do your trumpets require to be that long? Torque/power could be better of actually shorter. Mine was better with the long inlet and short trumpets

Trust me, I'll make em fit. If I decide to weld up another manifold it will cost me nothing, but it's been made to the lengths specified by the guy who did my head and from info given to me by Sandy, so we'll see.

Its got incredible torque and pulls hard from no revs but i do miss the kick of power that the sc6 used to give, the rs is just too smooth in its delivery. I keep considering the stage 1 bluefin map but dont know if its wise to play about with this one. Might be best to leave it standard and reliable?

SC gave you a kick of power but a turbocharger doesn't? Blink

Not on a sanitised road car that has to be driven by every Tom Dick and Harry regardless of whether they can cope with a mid corner boost spike on a wet road or not.

That, and like most new cars, the throttle response is deliberately lethargic.

I've had a bit of time off work with flu then Gastro enteritis, I was snowed under before, now it's just ridiculous. I barely have time to eat a sandwich at work, let alone have the time/energy to work on my car at the end of a long day. I hope to get some more done but it won't be for a while, got big things happening in work and out at the moment, all of which are more important than working on toys Sad
