They certainly don't lie about the 'custom' bit though, every bit they send out is individual Laugh my ass off

Oh yeah, they are indeed. I had to lie like a cheap Chinese watch as well to even get them to make the bar. They wouldn't sell me one at first as they aren't keen on people modifying cages from other manufactures using Custom Cages bits. Luckily I've bought one from them in the past so I made out I was replacing a damaged section of the cage. I don't think they'd of supplied me with it otherwise.

Helicoiling all done, bottle throddies all bolted together and port matched to the manifold. I even mocked it up with a few fittings to make it feel like a bit of progress. Need to order up a few more bits from Torques as there is a neater t-piece with less couplers on it that I'd rather use.

Not yet, no engine to put in at the moment, but I know what you're thinking, and to be honest it's a concern I have too. Will it fit? If not its getting a bonnet scoop plain and simple, I do intend to drop the engine a little lower in the bay, another 10-15mm shouldn't give the driveshafts too much more grief, but if they fail I'll have to get something a bit better made up.

One thing I have noticed is that it's going to be an absolute nightmare to make an enclosure to put the trumpets in with those two fuel rails and hoses getting in the way of everything. Nothing's ever easy is it?

Sorted out my catch tank today, it came with some strange fittings in the top that weren't compatible with the AN ones I'm using, I didn't want the fittings in the top either as it would mean using 90 degree elbows, more unnecessary expense so I chopped the lid off, welded on a new one and stuck on some AN-10 weld on bosses on the side where they will be much better positioned to get the pipe runs to the cam covers a bit straighter. I also welded another bracket at the bottom as the two at the sides seemed a little weak.

I also started making a bracket to stick my dual fuel pumps onto but ran out of gas before i could weld the last angle on so I decided to call it a day.

For fuel pressure? I could if it was a nice thick billet alloy one but this is a very thin plated steel fuel rail, wouldn't be ideal really.

Haha, instead of cell I read rail!

Yes you can and I will, I've seen people messing around sticking bits of rod into tanks with no gauge trying to tell how much fuel they have and guessing how much to put in, no thanks.
I'll have to holesaw a hold for it and drill the holes for the flange but it won't be hard to do. Heve to get the dip tube type of the correct length though as the floating arm type will get fouled by the foam in the tank.

Looking good James.

I will have to pop down and take a look.

You ever think of a dash solution? I found a carbon one that will do the job nicely.

I'm not putting the dash back in, the weight offends me LOL however I will have to make something to put all the switches fuses and a few gauges on. I'll probably make something to come off the dash bar with a support down to the tunnel at a later date. I just need to concentrate on shell prep for now so I can get it into paint before the winter.

Looking at this, which does fit, just, and looking at this...

Has got me a little concerned...

I'm confident mine will flow better than the Satchell one, but I think some kind of bonnet scoop will be required.
