For someone who likes to make a little money now and then by selling bolts that anybody can walk into a local branch of Screwfix and get for themselves, you sure do like to throw your weight around. GeniusWhistle

Earthing Kit Thread Slating

I noticed you didnt even defend your 'product' in anyway shape or form. Bit cheeky after you have ripped off many people with these useless pieces wire.

Thumbs up

Thats what i love about this forum
so many know it alls that actualy know jack shit

tpw made the 1st of these kits for the 306 i just took over when he stopped.
And he defended them far better than i could.
Most people who have fitted them have noticed improvements
the likes of hks and spoon make them for the japenese market, do some reasearch in to things properly before you dismiss them
there is plenty of info and b4 and after dyno graphs on the net if you spend time looking

as for the bolts, well screwfix only list one of the sizes i supply so

..and your earthing kits are exactly the same as the designed and tested ones that TPW supplied? No they are not!

There are many points that were raised in that particular thread, and as you are so well read on this subject, I thought you would have posted information defending your product.

Quote Miles..

quote:
I still want to know why the Fuel rail & TB is earth'd along with other thing's, The ECU injector's and Sensor's all go back to the ECU as a 0v referance signal for example, The Map, Injector's, TPS don;t touch anything Metallic

Any clues?

Could you be so kind as to point me in the right direction of these Dyno graphs on the 306 Gti..

Thumbs up

No i didnt i just use them alot for other stuff
and always good to have secondry suppliers

pity they aint much use though

bolts of pinch bolt size arnt strong enough, plateing on nylocs is poor

much rather use the local engineer suppliers

goes to show people on this forum dont do reasearch before spouting off

Yea, i know what you mean.

Dont suppose you are still seliing those self combusting braided fuel lines? Laugh my ass off

Have you got those readily available dyno graphs for your earth kits for me? As you are selling parts saying they are exactly the same as TPWs specification, when they clearly arent, plus you have no data to back this ridiculous statement up.

Thumbs up

Never said they were the same as tpw
though they do pick up all the same points just with less cable

now from my basic physics and electronics the shorter a route to earth the better

as for the fuel lines, they are and were capable of running 15 bar of pressure so more than capable of the 3bar the peugeot range uses

as said before if you dont like a product then dont buy it!
If you dont like a certain brand of tyre would you tell the person selling them that?
I doubt it but you would buy a different brand!

i wont say any more on any of the issues as im fed up of arguing with un educated miss informed idiots!

and thats putting it poletitly

If buying a tyre i was told the tyre grips like a Michelin, but in actual fact grips like butter, then i would be pretty p*ssed. Like i was told has the same effects as the TPW.

As for;

You havent actualy ever answered what the earthing kits do, and why the points you have chosen need earthing. All you have done is looked at where TPW have placed them, and copied their ideas, but using a quarter the amount of wire.

I take it you mean politely?

Politely or not, doesnt bother me, Just answer the simple questions, or stop selling your useless tat to misinformed members

Thumbs up

Point is and has being proven by many members
brighter lights
less fluctuation of revs on idle
better earthing of complete engine

go away do your own research you will find lots of these kits are made across the world for all manner of car
if you dont believe then dont buy but dont bad mouth what you dont understand

and i doubt you know who tpw is, let alone have seen his kits due to the date you joined and the fact he progressed from pug ownership long before you joined
has phillpm got dyno results for the ptfe gaskets?
If not will you be asking him for them?
Same principle applies.
Minimal outlay
minimal gains

some people see gains others say they dont

now get a life!

You do realise it isn't just one person that hasn't benefited from your earth kit, and more people not seeing the point of it at all the on a 306?

Who has had a problem with one of Phils PTFE gaskets, when did he offer the dyno results?

Because i joined later than TPW stopped producing the earth kit, I wouldnt know of the product?

You were the one that offered the dyno results for the product?

Wave brakes for you.

And nope, having no GTI6 myself, I have no dyno results, but there used to be some posted on here somewhere.

No i never offerd dyno results for the 306
just said search the net there is plenty of before and after results with similair kits on many different types of vehicle

i have never said you will see amazing power gains or fantastic improvements but you should see some improvements overall
and every little helps

its funny you say what you do, ive had far more positive remarks about them than i have had negative

as said if you dont believe then dont buy!

i dont like eagle f1 tyres but i dont slag them off likewise i dont like pirreli p6000 but my old man cant rate them highly enough

its called personel choice and its something we have gone through two world wars to be able to have

haha matt yeah you should know people on here love dragging threads completly off topic
