yeah there a good place. i had a long Y peice made up which comes back to the gearstick nearly, then 2 of the biggest boxes he could possibly fit and using 2.5" tube. cant remember the exact price, what you roughly getting quoted?db readings seem all over the place at combe recently. last time it was 98db, its been 88, 92 so who knows! but havent been pulled of as yet though ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |

i'm hoping i'm panicing over nothing, as it's loud as it's only a 2" exhaust and getting pushed through a small borewhich would make any car louder, if you limited the exhaust bore ________________________________________ Do you need a 205 > 306 gti6 plug and go engine loom? had a new exhaust made for the 205 today, 2.5" bore, with optional 3rd Silencerjust hoping now it's all ok, what you think?        and the optional 3rd Box, if it's still a little loud  ________________________________________ Do you need a 205 > 306 gti6 plug and go engine loom? you need a silencer that is not straight through you need sound chambers in the boxes, each chamber filters a different frequency. straight through ones are useless imo________________________________________ |

It's pretty quiet at 8000 driven with just 2, but was getting wheel spin , so need to tax it and do a full testBut all I can hear in the car now is the engine, where as before after 4500 the exhaust just got louder and louder ________________________________________ Do you need a 205 > 306 gti6 plug and go engine loom? the car is taxed again now, so took it out for a little blast, definiatly sounds quieter now, so thats a good thing afr gauge is looking a little lean to me , so not sure if its the gauge or the map as now it has a 2.5" exhaust aft was looking around 12.9 from 5500 or onwards, below that it's 12.5 certainly picks up better and pulls well, stack dash now has a peak of 142 and was still pulling (private road test) ________________________________________ Do you need a 205 > 306 gti6 plug and go engine loom?
