After removing my rear wiper and putting a blanking plug in, i can't seem to work out how to cut the water off the tube.

Can anyone tell me how they got round this?

unplug the motor wires on the screen wash tank? I'm sure you can get blanking plugs for washer hose at a car shop.

Essentially it just needs to be plugged...no clear cut way of doing it. I think unplugging the wires may help.

Not a great mod to do in November though LOL

get a single outlet pump off a 106 and you could leave the hose in place, but unplugged. the hose runs right through the roof of the shell and through the boot so a pain to remove and refit

if you triggered the rear wiper hose, the front would spray instead

[have got one on the 306 i'm building]

Anyone know if you can get a new rear windscreen without a hole for the wiper?

Would like to remove my rear wiper but don't fancy having to mess about too much.

Also any pics of the hole in the window with the wiper removed/

Cheers

What is the benefit/purpose of removing the rear wiper?

Or is it just for aesthetic reasons?

Purely aesthetic reasons.
I did this because my rear wiper arm had seen better days and i wanted a smooth look to the rear.
I have to admit the difference in look is considerable.

Just shoved a bit of metal rod in mine and then used a little clip to put pressure on the rod and stop any water coming out, easy peasy Yes

Think i got the info from my MAX POWER 306 guide Unsure Ban Doh

Sorry to dig up an old thread but what size/material plug was used to fill the hole where the rear wiper once was?!
