they never check airbags. if the light is flashing they'll fail it. if your airbag light is flashing none of the airbags will work i don't think anyway. removing the bulb is 'workaround' but not a fix

As of next year they can fail a airbag being faulty. The part of the test is to check that light comes on and goes out again they would not use a diagnostic machine. Along as the light does that will be fine. I know this as I work in a mot station. If u wanted to make a re

Stupid I phone I finish that off. U need to make a resistor at 2 ohms then the ecu can see there's a airbag there and the light will be fine

Ah that's a pain, the Peugeot airbags are only rated for 10 years anyway! Ive got 12months to solder in a resistor anyway.

That's pretty stupid about the airbag light, I only read that this morning. It says they can't fail it for the first three months, only advise about it.

Better start fault finding on my hdi and my brothers hdi then.
