The Ring taxi lap is a slow because we have to stop when the clio spins but one of the vids on my channel is 8.31 BTG with a few hold ups,i'd like to think it was 8.15 pace which is the same as a few of us off here have done in our six's.
Cheers Martin

Admittedly, the guy is an awesome driver, but it just go's to show how well these cars can handle with the right modification's

Some people were asking me if I was going to put any of my Subaru laps on my channel when I went last year but I had trouble with my old camera all w/end so I didnt get any film. Anyway, I went back this year armed with a GoPro so for those who have asked here's the link to one of them.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kAncR_dH0s
Two weeks after coming back form the Ring I entered the Scoob in my (and the cars) first ever race which was the last round of the Nippon Challenge at Penbery. I qaulified p1 and won 3 out of 3 races which I was dead please with. I'd like to say the wins were down to my ace driving but after making suspension changes advised by a mate of mine who is a suspension expert who works for a lot of the top BTTC teams I could drive round the outside of most stuff I was racing with which made my life easy. Cheers Martin.

Holy cow! That's the sort of person that deserves to own a car like that, he was very brave/ballsy in some sections but WOW he can drive!

Im amazed at how u kept ur Temper with some of the people who made comments on u tube, obviously jealous keyboard warriors who clearly dont understand what it takes to drive any car at this pace around any circuit never mind the ring!
