just a fresh bump as i have the same problem.

opened the boot section with the wiper motor in it. Removed the blue relay and opened it up to see that it had corroded. Gave it a full on clean with wd-40 and then a slight sanding etc. Cleaned it up and re-installed it. still no joy.

i am presuming it has completley burnt out and will try the local scrap yards, i mean

I had the same problem. Water had leaked through the tailgatelock due to me pressure washing the car. I managed to fix the relay by prizing the cover off and cleaning the contacts out. I then wrapped it in some tin foil.

I cant believe these things are

I've got the motor and relay assembly on a P3 breaker if yous guys are stuck.

There are lots on ebay usually. Smile

As above I cable tied a u-bent plastic bag over mine.
