For the difference it makes, it's worth it and I never had any issues driving around in heavy rain or through deep puddles Wink

I'm sure the air filter will cope with any bits of towel (if any) Wink

Have you got any bracing holding the air filter up in place or is it hanging off the aluminium pipe?

very tightly fitted onto the aluminium pipe with 2 jubilee clips Yes

I think for Ryan's problem, I'm gonna create a waterproof cover for it to put over the cold air feed entrance for when it's left overnight... to keep water out Yes just in case it rains in the night. Or i'm gonna mess around and find a way to get the cold air feed no lower than the bottom of the filter so it doesn't have too much of a slope in it, if that makes sense? i'll be messing around on my next day off me thinks.

Oh and also, is anyone or knows anyone who is selling a Rallye fog light blanking plate???? Erm?

I'd be worried about copying this guy if there's no additional bracing. LOL

i suppose it is ok... but as they're enclosed, the air may struggle to find its way underneath without the cold air feed... so definitely better if you can put the cold air feed on Yes

i'm ordering a Rallye blanking palte for my cold air feed. and I'm getting it over the pit in my garage tomorrow to shorten the aluminium pipe, and shorten the silicone hose bringing the whole filter up by about 2 or 3 inches or so.... and while I'm at it, i'll use the pit in my garage to use a saddle bracket to secure it somehow... as like Joker's, I have made sure that it's secure as it is Yes

yes I do Yes dug it out about 4 foot deep and 3 foot wide and concrete blockers/paving slabs on the sides to stop the soil from burying me Laugh my ass off haha and some chequer plate steel panels to cover it over so I can drive onto it when not using it, it's a godsend really... saves jacking the car up.

but you ordered one from the same place I ordered mine from??? mine only took about 3 or 4 days to get to me form ordering it. Have you ordered the 80/70mm silicone reducer that you're gonna need? Erm?

now I KNOW you can't see anything other than my interior mirror/windscreen.... but but this video is concentrating on the sound this Induction Kit setup makes.
