Hi again guys, ive ordered the two above parts and plan to fit them at weekend

Are they both simply take off and replace affairs or is there more to it ? If they are as easy as changing the MAP sensor was then id be happy =P

TPS is just 2 (or maybe 3) little torx screws. Easy peasy.

The only issue with the CTS is finding a spanner big enough to fit it. When you remove it, just be aware you may introduce an air pocket in the thermostat housing so might want to bleed the coolant... Probably not necessary though.

TPS is 2 torx screws (T20 IIRC)

And CTS is a 19mm spanner Wink

You're obviously feeling flush if you've ordered all that from Peugeot!

Under the throttle body, the throttle body will need to come off, it takes longer to remove everything than actually swap the bloody thing !

@vernam616: thank you for both of your replies. My trouble starts when in the RPM meter varies from 900 to 700 rpm, and at a point, my engine stops. This is very stressed situation, stoping the car at junctions, stops the engine too.

Reading the posts in here, i managed to say that the TPS sensor can cause this. On the throtle body, i have 2 electrical couples, one in front between throtle body and radiator, and one in the back of the throtle, between the throtle body and driver.

Which one is for the TPS sensor? I rather test it unplugged before changing anything.

Excuse my english, im from Romania, and i didn`t wrote nothing in english for 5-6 years already.

You have to take the air feed, to the throttle body off and slide your hand between the throttle body and coolant pipe, its acutally on the bottom of the throttle body, should be a 3 pin plug

Your problem sounds more like a broken/dirty idle control valve
situated on the inlet manifold close to the throttle body, there is a FAQ on how to remove, quite easy really, 2 10mm bolts, remove small air pipe, pull it out, disconnect multiplug, remove the 2 phillips screws to release the sensor from its housing then clean the inside and tip of the sensor with carb cleaner/WD-40 (i find carb cleaner works better though)

Ok, last night, i cleaned up the idle valve and the map sensor, but still no changes. Actually, there was a little improvement, but not 100% repaired.

I also have a question, the motor of idle valve, is it ok not to move that axe with bare hands? Or it should move with the hand? Mine is not moving with the hand at all.

Thank you.

More than likely broken then, hence why you dont see much difference when cleaning

If your on about the lights behind the heater controls... then these are known for failing, many people dont bother changing as they can be a bas**rd to get to

Try banging the dash with the lights turned on to see if you can get any of them working

Just change the bulbs on the heater control panel, costs pence and these bulbs do have a habit of blowing, as I can confirm.
