I'd have just got them done and put them on the bay. You'd beable to under cut 106's ones by a pound then. I guess yours will be resonably priced then.

Couple of points:
1. How are you going to get them made?
2. Get them vector traced correctly (this is what I haven't had time to do yet). (sorry egg-sucking etc etc)

Your biggest problem is finding someone with an edge machine or a screen printer to do the work. You could do them with a layer of dark grey metallic vinyl with the colours overlaid, but that doesn't look original in my book. If you do go this route get them done in the best quality cast vinyl you can. This should give you less of an edge when you change height, better colour and should stop them creeping back and leaving glue behind with age.

The originals are screen printed on to clear which you cannot replecate with a normal vinyl colour printer, except on a white car. Hence the need for a screen printer or a heat transfer printer like the edge.

Sorry for the essay but i've been meaning to do these for ages and have not had time. I'll do my own when I get around to removing the wrap off the car!Wink Roll eyes Smile

I will make my enquiries now I know there is some interest. As I said if they don't look the same then there's no point.

Its the metallic surround thats the problem. Same with loads of standard decals - Type R ones for example!

I have been looking into this of late Rick and have been in contact with Peugeot who were actually quite helpful although they didnt go as far as offering new decals to everyone Doh

They suggested using a company called 'Motormode' who create the graphics for Topgear cars. I have not had the chance to take it any further but perhaps they have the ability to reproduce the graphics exactly Yes

Also i have a contact that should be able to get hold of every decal new apart from the bonnet decal, so if you are seeking a new set to work from then it should be possible Yes

I of course would be up for a set too, doesnt help to have a spare Smile

A little nugget of pointless information for the day too, the original decals were produced by a small company in Spain, sadly i don't know their name Sad

I know a few e-learning people in Sheffield is that close to what you do? By the way I have some original "spare" decals if you need some to copy (I can't remember which I've got, I'll have a look)
