I've had a few more people PM'ing me wanting a lightweight billet steel flywheel.

I'm getting another 10 made - just thought I would see if anyone else wants one. They should be finished in 2-3 weeks.

They are machined from EN24T billet steel. Weight is approx. 3.7KG compared to the standard cast item which weighs 6.5KG.

They accept the standard clutch and are a direct replacement for the OE item.

Price is £258 inc. delivery.

I won't go into the advantages and gains etc - there is loads of infor on the forum so have a search Smile

They are a work of art to say the least Cool

Not treated - but then flywheels never are No

Could get them treated if you want [zinc passivation or chemical blacking etc], but would be little point Smile

This will be the 3rd batch of 10 to be made Yes

Should be able to get them done again if there is enough interest to warrant making another 10 - it's not really worth the engineers making less than this Smile

Cheers
Rich

Finally got round to fitting mine yesterday Big grin

Was a bit worried it would be too light, and make the engine erratic and hard to control [it's VERY keen to rev as it is] but it's all good Big grin

Pick-up and response is improved, and it goes through the lower gears even quicker now Big grin

Perhaps I can get sub 5 seconds to 60 now Smoke Devil

The fit on these is spot on though, very impressed Yes

At last you've got to savour the fruits of your labour RichWink. Backs up everything i've said about the indecent haste in the lower gears that my 6 shows, being equipped with one. And yours has
400 horsies to play withBig grin.
