I'm probably being daft but changing the Camshaft Pulley I assume means taking off the cambelt and then having to time it up again properly?

There is no mention of camshaft pulley?

If there is, it's a typo Smile

No need to go near cambelt - half hour job to fit these pullies, only belt that needs to come off is the alternator belt Smile

This may sound a bit random but I'm sure that if you could get some HDi crankshaft pulleys made up you'd get quite a few sold, seems to be a common fault that crankshaft pulleys go on them, which meant pug redesigned them, so there's a new type, which costs in the region of 100 quid, and looks no where near as bombproof as yours.

Was just a thought! Dom.

Now have LOADS of these Alloy Engine Pullies for anyone wanting them

[I have approx. 20 complete sets, although each pulley can be bought individually if req'd]

The Tesnioner and Idle pullies have been revised slightly, and now feature circlips to secure the the bearings in the bores Smile

Just a bit of design-development Smile

Prices are [inc. delivery]:

[b]Crank Pulley -

There is no spacer on the GTi-6 - it bolts straight onto the boss on the mounting plate, like the OE pulley

What style pullies have you got now? Are they silver or black?

Is there a problem with them?!

Unsure

There shouldn't be a problem with those ones Thumbs up

The bearing is in a different lateral location to the silver ones, so I would probably have to turn down one side of the new style pullies.

The only circumstances when I replace them for people is failure...
