A lot of the time they are on forums, sometimes on flea bay, it just a case of keeping your eyes open for a barging. My one cost me £20 Wink

Dont bother with etec they r all looks and very little improvement.u can actualy fley them yourself by hand.so they dont stand much chance with suspension forces pushing against them.get a good steel one.omp, sparce kd raceing etc and dont forget u will need longer locating bolts

thats pretty cool Smile are these strut braces purely cosmetic, or do they actually truthfully improve handling at all?

whichever way... i'd love a chrome or a blue OMP strut brace... even if i have to spray it blue myself Razz

Yeh they tighten up the front end a bit. But more noticable if you have the brace on the car for a while then take it off! You'll be aching to get the brace back on!!

main difference ive noticed with mine is its sorted a few minor dash noises! also if you drive over a cattle grid without one then your steering wheel vibrates like your missus' favourite toy but put a strut brace on and it barely moves

I got an OMP one from strutbracer on eBay for £60 a couple of months back. I also got a free cap because delivery was over 2 weeks as it had to come from Italy which was nice. Excellent fit. I definatly think I notice a difference with it on. I would also recommend a set of strut brace bolts from Swampy. Thumbs up

Etech looks good but is more for show.as said before get a steel one from omp or the like.they will stiffen it up far more.be careful with lower braces as most of them knock the sump which is never a good thing.and as said i can provide the correct length bolts
