My central locking keeps locking by itself, anyone help? i have to push the button then try and open the door before she locks herself again.LOL Unsure

It's very likely to be the loom between the door and the car. Take check strap off so you can open the door fully (beware not to go too far as it'll bend the door Erm? )

Undo the loom from the door. Turn collar anti clock while waggling the big plug

once collar undone pull out plug

Then peel back rubber boot and find broken wires

Solder new sections into any broken ones

Proper fix is a new loom but these are horrible to fit Mellow

This applies to loss of any door electrical items.

So far I have lost

-Mirror
-Mirror heater
-Elec window
-Central locking
-lighting to window switch

Doh

Need new looms one day as mine are looking like one of them telephone exchanges at the mo Laugh

My drivers electric window has been tempremental since i bought it over 18 months ago. For the last 6 months its only worked when the doors been open at a certain point - suggesting a split in the loom.

Loom inside the door has been out and is intact, and i checked the wire bundle behind the square rubber grommet and thats ok too?

Is it possible one of the terminations in either of the multiplugs has come lose?

did you check the loom in both doors?
