Hi All, My Phase 3 GTI6 heater blower has packed up. Its been making a racket for a while now but the speed of the unit is going up and down on its own now sometimes slowing to a crawl other times its speeds up like it should despite what setting you select on the dashboard.

I've had the unit out and its quite rusty where its metal. I've been looking for a replacement but I can only find LHD and non-AC ones for sale. Anyone know a good place to source this part in 2024?

Cheers.
Jamie.

Additional, I've checked the relays they appear to be in excellent condition.

If you are looking for the piece in this photo, there is no difference between left and right.

Many thanks. Is the entire heater blower assembly including the fan not LHD/RHD AC/NO-AC specific to? I was just going to buy the job lot and stick it in :

https://www.autodoc.co.uk/nrf/9593880?utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&tb_prm=20315908947&gshp=1&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIwurJi9PEhAMVXJNQBh1ysANwEAQYASABEgL8C_D_BwE

Its got 3 wires going into the unit, I was going to get the multi meter on it to check incoming voltages but its got to dark now might be a job for tomorrow.

Thanks.

If you are going to buy just the module, there is no L/R difference, but if you are going to buy a complete fan set, it is different.
If you give me your chassis number, I can tell you the part code.
