Hello all,

Recently pulled engine apart, compression was around 120 psi on each cylinder, with lockdown probably went too far in dismantling. Crank to be assessed.

Went to enquire regarding pressure test -checking block before rebuild, most places here not familiar with this engine.

Is there a reliable diy option to pressure test this block coolant and oil that anyone is aware of and also prep guidelines, aware of the skim limits, head specialist says ok condition.

Any advice appreciated,

Cheers

Tony

bores are probably worn out, will need overbore and oversized pistons.

max skim is 0.20mm off the head, I believe mahle do +0.5 pistons
