Evening all
After some help please?
Just failed MOT on a brake bind (OSF), I’ve stopped down the brake and cleaned it all up with brake cleaner, wire brush etc
One of the caliper pins had seized which I regreased and put all back together with fresh copper grease on the pads etc.
Still binding after a retest so can only assume I need a new caliper.
Trouble is I can’t find them anywhere down here in Plymouth nor can I find someone/ a company who would refurbish the caliper I have?
Does anyone know where I can get a new caliper or is there anything else I can try and get this sorted? (Just spent ages sorting all the other 306 woes…)
Cheers!!

I'd put a seal and piston in it if needed, I dont use copper grease any more, red rubber on the pins and ate pad slider grease

If you can't repair it or find a second hand unit then have a look at a place in Worcester called Bigg Red, they will recondition your caliper for you, think they may also be able to offer you a rebuild kit for you to do yourself.

Thanks for the advice. Need the car sorted sooner rather than later so leaning towards a replacement caliper and then in time I’ll have a go at refurbishing the Lucas one.
What is the opinion on Budweg Calipers?
