Anyone know if UK S16s ever came with Cyclones? I always thought they were the ones attached here, not sure the name. Cheers

I think they are called Challenger. Same as fitted to Phase 2 405 Mi16

Thanks Phil. And those were the UK S16 standard issue wheels as far as you know? Cyclones came later?

They are called Lasers and were fitted to S16s. Do not fit GTi6's I found out.

By the way, not the same as phase 2 Mi16s Wink But the same as 405 Mi16 Le Mans.

Brakes are to big. Might fit if the lead for balancing the wheel is slim enough...

I had an s16 with Gti brakes on with the original laser s16 alloys and they fitted fine with no spacers, close but they fitted. I thought the Phase 1 gti and s16 hub assembly were the same, just different brakes 🤔

S16 brakes are 266mm IIRC.

Maybe the lead used for balancing was to thick on mine.
