My phase 2 has been parked up since Covid, being run every few weeks. I decided to check it over in anticipation of getting it MOT'd next month.

The doors unlocked with the IR remote but when I closed the driver's door, I heard a faint clicking sound and the central locking would no longer work from the key or remote. When the door is open, the clicking stops.

The sound came from the rear driver's side.

Is the fault likely to be the central locking unit, wiring, or door lock?

the central locking relay control module is under the ledge, under the rear bench seat drivers side
you may have herd that clicking
or
the alarm relay box is behind the O/side rear quarter panel above the drivers seat belt real
