After some pointers please, before the car goes to the garage.

I have taken my car out the last few weekends for a variety of smallish journeys 10-20 miles and think I have noticed on some roads at around 30mph with a static throttle you can feel a very slight stutter in the car.

When applying throttle it seems to be fine.

Also not sure if it related, the car died on me the other day when dipping the clutch parking up in supermarket, started up again no problem.

And the idle seemed unsettled on one occasion weekend just gone.

I have checked the plugs are all tight and the earth under battery box seems good condition. Any other easy things I can check before it goes to the garage Friday.
